Unexpectedly, Team Eunogo in Singapore and many of our friends across Asia find ourselves dealing with more and more restrictive measures in the fight against Covid-19, including working from home, e-learning for those with kids, and restrictions on access to aesthetic treatments and facials. With that in mind, we put together some “At-Home” skincare tips for managing through this stressful time so that we can all emerge like butterflies from a cocoon! Without further ado, let’s begin:
1. HydrateYes, we know you've probably heard this before, but that’s because it's important and it bears repeating. If you are hydrating from the inside out, your skin will surely thank you. You should be drinking a minimum of 2 Liters per day. And that's just the baseline! We recommend two things:
- Fill up your water bottle with a measurement and set an an alarm for yourself to make sure you finish at least 500ml every 2 hours, and;
- Add a slice of lemon to your water. The extra Vitamin C can boost both your immunity and skin! It’s a win-win!
2. Cleanse Properly
Yes, it is it tempting to lounge around all day in pajamas and skip the basics of skincare when you’re feeling down about having nowhere to go. But if you are not doing basic cleansing, you’re going to be bummed out about the state of your skin in addition to not leaving the house. Regular cleansing with the right face wash (read: one that doesn’t leave you feeling dry and “squeaky clean”) can do wonders for our mood and our skin!
Our pick is the AOSA Black Power All-In-One Cleanser. It uses charcoal, hyaluronic acid, and caviar to hydrate and infuse your skin with nutrients it needs at the beginning and end of your day.
3. Exfoliate Gently
Even if cleansing on a regular basis, our face will build up some dead skin cells through regular cell turnover. A gentle botanical peel once or twice per week will keep your face radiant and uncongested before you can return to get your favorite Korean facial.

4. Moisturize Moisturize Moisturize
If you’re working from home and sitting in aircon all day, your epidermis (upper skin layer) may experience more dryness than normal. Make sure you’re sealing in the moisture and not letting the dry air undo all your efforts. A gentle moisturizer with proper active ingredients like Centella Asiatica, Madecassoside, or Hyaluronic Acid should do the trick! Here are our recommendations:
5. Go For A Walk
Some fresh air will always do you a world of good: you can clear your mind and de-stress. A brisk walk will help get your pulse racing and the blood flowing throughout your body.
